Surface Chemistry Reactions Make Nanomaterials Happy with Sakiru Abiodun
About the guest
Sakiru Abiodun is a PhD Candidate at the University of South Carolina, USA, exploring the surface chemistry of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals to improve the stability and optical and electronic properties of halide perovskite quantum dots. A recent paper used isothermal titration calorimetry and NMR to resolve how quaternary ammonium halide ligands react on their surface. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Sakiru Abiodun curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from March 28 to April 3 2022. Read all of Sakiru’s tweets from that week.
