Squeezing Light with Nano antenna ft. Thorsten Feichtner
About the guest
Thorsten Feichtner is the Managing Director of the Cluster of Excellence ct.qmat at the University of Würzburg, Germany. His research improves light–matter interaction with optical antennas, metallic nanoparticles designed to route photons into tiny volumes, and he developed a method that uses evolutionary optimisation to design them. He did his diploma and doctorate in Würzburg, in the group of Bert Hecht.
Thorsten Feichtner curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from November 25 to November 30 2019. Read all of Thorsten’s tweets from that week.
