Shine Bright like a Nanodiamond with Emma Rankin Wilson
About the guest
Emma Rankin Wilson is a PhD Researcher at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, studying fluorescent nanodiamonds at the nano–bio interface. The PhD examines how nanodiamond size, from 10 to 140 nm, affects their fluorescence and their interaction with living things. She came to science after almost two decades as a chef in hospitality.
Emma Rankin Wilson curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from September 21 to September 27 2020. Read all of Emma’s tweets from that week.
