Anna Piras was a PhD student at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies when we recorded this episode. She completed her PhD in March 2024 and, according to her CV, has since worked as a research associate at the Institute for the Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds of Italy’s National Research Council (CNR-ICCOM) in Pisa, on materials for recovering and storing thermal energy.
