Nanobits in Water with Georgina Zimbitas
About the guest
Georgina Zimbitas is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Strathclyde, UK, using dynamic light scattering and nanoparticle tracking analysis to detect nano-sized entities, from nanoclusters of small organic molecules in water to aggregation in peptoids. Trained in surface science, she has studied gas–solid, liquid–solid and gas–liquid interfaces, including viscous liquids that form foam-like structures.
Georgina Zimbitas curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from August 24 to August 30 2020. Read all of Georgina’s tweets from that week.
