Ion Race Through the Crystals and Thin-films ft. Svenja Lohmann
About the guest
Svenja Lohmann is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University, Sweden, using ion beams from particle accelerators to analyse materials. The project focuses on very slow ions and how they interact with electrons in matter, including the energy loss of ions in silicon crystals. Doing a PhD abroad was a deliberate choice.
Svenja Lohmann curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from October 14 to October 19 2019. Read all of Svenja’s tweets from that week.
