Electron Dances in Atomically Thin Crystals with Servet Ozdemir
About the guest
Servet Ozdemir is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Institute of Photonics and Quantum Sciences at Heriot-Watt University, UK, studying atomically thin honeycomb crystals through electron transport and light. A highlight is the first systematic experimental study of rhombohedral graphite thin films. Servet studied at the University of Warwick and did a PhD in the Graphene NOWNANO Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Manchester.
Servet Ozdemir curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from July 27 to August 1 2021. Read all of Servet’s tweets from that week.
