Defects Make Better Devices with Robert Karsthof
About the guest
Robert Karsthof is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, Norway, studying defects in semiconductor crystals, missing or swapped atoms that have a huge impact on devices such as smartphones, solar cells and LEDs. Nickel oxide, a versatile but challenging material, has been a focus since his PhD. He studied physics in Leipzig, Germany.
Robert Karsthof curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from March 22 to March 28 2021. Read all of Robert’s tweets from that week.
