Vivian Tong is a Higher Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), UK, using electron microscopy to study the microscale crystal structure of materials and developing electron diffraction techniques. Vivian’s PhD in Materials Science used electron backscatter diffraction to study zirconium alloys used in nuclear reactor fuel tubes.
