Cooking at Nanoscale with Colloidal Chemistry ft. Laia Castilla-Amorós
About the guest
Laia Castilla-Amorós is a Doctoral Assistant in the Lab of Nanochemistry of Energy at EPFL, Switzerland, developing the synthesis of multimetallic colloidal nanoparticles. Colloidal chemistry has so far reached only trimetallic nanoparticles, which usually contain at least one noble metal; her work pushes towards copper-based, noble-metal-free multimetallic nanoparticles as catalysts for electrochemical CO2 reduction, starting with CuGa nanodimers.
Laia Castilla-Amorós curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from February 2 to February 8 2020. Read all of Laia’s tweets from that week.
