Argon Through the Looking Glass with Rebecca Cummings
About the guest
Rebecca Cummings is a PhD Student at the University of Glasgow, UK, an electron microscopist using electron energy loss spectroscopy to study the mirror coatings of gravitational-wave detectors. Her first paper counted the argon atoms in tiny bubbles in these coatings to work out their density and pressure. She studied physics at the University of Kent.
Rebecca Cummings curated the Real Scientists Nano Twitter account (@RealSci_Nano) from March 7 to 13 2022. Read all of Rebecca’s tweets from that week.
