What people say about working with me
Feedback from professors, researchers, and research institutions across Europe and beyond — on training and keynotes, science communication, and the Under the Microscope podcast.
I have worked with Pranoti both as a partner on grant proposals and for her training workshops. She is friendly, has clear communication, and works hard to support you. She ran her 'personal branding for scientists' workshop for our ECRs and it was excellent — she tailored it to make sure it was as relevant as possible. I have since done her AI for scientists workshop and found it very helpful. Pranoti is a joy to work with and I would wholeheartedly recommend her.
Dr. Pranoti Kshirsagar was invited to share her journey with the students of our Kalpana-She for STEM program. Her rich and diverse experience inspired the young aspiring minds. Her journey from academia to the founder of 'The Science Talk' left a lasting impression on our students, providing them with valuable lessons. We are deeply grateful for her time and for sharing her remarkable story.
It was a great opportunity for our students and researchers to learn key tips from an expert science communicator. Pranoti shared personal insights and professional guidance with the same passion and detail. It was very useful and inspiring — it just opened the conversation: we want to learn more!
The recording was done very professionally, and the host is an experienced interviewer that understands perfectly how to make a guest feel at ease with the recording and interview format.

Under the Microscope podcast guestI recently had the pleasure of recording a podcast with Pranoti, where we discussed my research on engineered living materials. The entire experience was exceptionally well organized, with clear communication and a highly professional approach from start to finish. Pranoti is a curious and thoughtful interviewer who asked insightful questions and created an engaging atmosphere for discussion. I truly enjoyed participating and appreciated the opportunity to share my work.

Under the Microscope podcast guestDr Pranoti delivered an outstanding session by explaining in simple terms how to communicate science, with clear examples. I learnt a lot on how to communicate science in creative ways using social media and podcasts. This has inspired me to imagine a podcast series of my own.
Pranoti is very open and engaging, which made for an amazing discussion about neurodiversity in academia. She did a great job expressing a lot of the challenges neurodiverse people face in academia as well as in corporations. Just really nice to work with all around.
It was easy and natural to talk to Pranoti as a podcast host. She creates a positive atmosphere and tries to make even stressed guests more relaxed. Her follow-up questions make it easier not to forget something important and give time to think about the answers.

Under the Microscope podcast guestAppearing on The Science Talk was a genuinely enjoyable and recommendable experience. Having Pranoti as a host made something as initially daunting as a first podcast feel surprisingly natural. From the clear pre-recording guidance to the thoughtful post-recording debrief, every step was designed to put me at ease.
Pranoti and her team created a customized personal branding workshop which was very helpful for our summer school participants, covering an important topic they were unfamiliar with. They were also incredibly engaging and fun, frequently bringing the house down with laughter.
Pranoti has a very honest and approachable way of talking about her work and experiences in physics. She brought a very interesting and helpful perspective on studying and working in science for our students.
I liked it very much. Very well organized, nice network, enjoyed the interview a lot. It couldn't be better.
I have been working alongside Pranoti for the best part of 6 months and what is clear is that she is a sea of knowledge. As well as being incredibly professional, she brings creativity and positivity to everything she does. Since recently becoming a freelancer, and working on The Science Talk more, Pranoti is a scientist unbound, and the content she produces is top quality and fun, as well as informative. I would highly recommend following and connecting with Pranoti, and witness her expertise for yourself!
In 2022 I started to work with Dr. Pranoti Kshirsagar in her role as Founder of The Science Talk. Working with Pranoti regularly to create science communication and public outreach content, I can say that she has an incredibly constructive and enthusiastic approach to work. She has a truly once-in-a-million combo of creativity and business growth, and I know that I can always approach her for constructive feedback and advice. I particularly like that she brings energy, motivation, and creativity to each conversation, making it a true joy to work with her.
Dr. Pranoti is a rare individual who can articulate complex topics in a creative and engaging manner. I have had the privilege to collaborate with her at The Science Talk where she mentored me and our team in science communication and gave us a platform to learn and build podcasts for the Under the Microscope series. I would highly recommend her for leadership and communication positions.
I've enjoyed a close working relationship with Pranoti for about four years when she was a Senior Product Manager at Springer Nature. Throughout this period, I have seen Pranoti excel at all aspects of her work. She has a creative (and sharp) mind which she brilliantly balanced with a solutions-focused and customer-centric approach. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the needs of the scientific community, which was a huge strength in the further development of the products she was responsible for. I have found her to be inspiring and fun to work with, and I cannot recommend Pranoti highly enough.
Pranoti is a once-in-a-generation product management professional. I had the privilege of managing Pranoti directly when working together on Springer Nature's first AI-based platform for scientists in the materials domain. She was always a step ahead of her peers and had a knack for finding the pain points of our users and building solutions that created the highest impact. She has excellent user empathy, commercial acumen, product strategy and marketing whiz, making her a brilliant product strategy professional.
I found the workshop insightful and inspiring to further develop my own personal brand as a scientist on professional social media. Great tips and tricks were shared to enhance visibility, increase engagement and grow followers. I would recommend the workshop if you are looking for structured ways to 'shine' in the digital world!
Very interesting — I got in contact with new people and it was an opportunity to think about the interesting aspects of my job that I could share. It was also more intense than I thought it would be, as writing reasonable threads takes time! Very happy overall.
It was a nice experience to show my work and my career to new people. I had total freedom to post, with suggestions from Pranoti when required. The experience was fun and enriching.
It was actually hands-on and practical, fast-paced. A good investment of time and money.
I realized that I needed it more than I knew.
To actually write my own branding. I would never have done this by myself, and by doing it I realized better what actually makes me unique. You two absolutely rock!
It was an excellent opportunity to curate an account dedicated to nano and materials science. The interactions and exposure were enjoyable.
Great. I really enjoyed it. Thanks Pranoti for being very contactable and answering questions quickly and directly.
Really fun! Keep up the good work — amazed you managed to do all of this alongside your daily job as well!
Great fun! I had more to say than I thought and enjoyed saying it more than I thought I would — and more people liked it than I expected.
Really great! Thanks for extending my stay to 2 weeks. I had lots of fun, got some good interaction going and pushed the follower numbers over 3000!
I found it very well organized. It was really fun to record the podcast and take over the Twitter page. It was great to have this space to disseminate a bit of what I do and tell about my career.
