HdM Quantum Day

At HdM Quantum Day 2026, Pranoti spoke about the strategic partnership between QuanTour and The Science Talk, and how partnerships like this can amplify research impact. As communication lead for the QuanTour project — winner of the 2025 Lise Meitner Medal and Prize from the Institute of Physics for innovative public engagement across the UK and Europe — she brought a practitioner’s view of what makes science communication partnerships actually work.

The talk was followed by a panel discussion on the role of science communication in quantum research, including questions on funding, generative AI’s impact on digital SciComm, and why partnering with a dedicated communicator (rather than relying solely on an institution’s press office) changes outcomes for research visibility.
