This one is worth your time!

Hello hello,

Last week, Google launched Nano Banana Pro claiming “Turn your visions into studio-quality designs with unprecedented control, improved text rendering and enhanced world knowledge.”

With so much promise, I HAD to test it and I did.

In science and science communication, context is extremely crucial. The facts and information should be exactly as is in the source. And so far all the genAI tools missed the mark. Either exaggerating the claims or creating poor quality media.

NanoBanana gets it right. I tested it and created four infographics and a slidedeck from my podcast episodes. And of course documented by experience, read here.

👇 Here is the infographic created with NotebookLM + NanoBananaPro. The source was my transcript, youtube video and slides from my latest Guidance session “Dissemination Budgeting for ERC Consolidator”.

3 Simple steps to get you started

  1. Pick a scientific article you are familiar with

  2. Add it as a source in NotebookLM (on the left side of the web/app)

  3. Select “infographic” in the Studio (on the right side of the web/app)

  4. (Optional) Share the results and your first impressions with me, simply by replying to this email 😉
